Yes, yes, okay, I’ll post a picture of my head.

But it’s going to have to wait til tomorrow, or perhaps the day after.

Tonsilitis has been stalking Skip since Saturday morning. Poor little dude has tonsils the size of regulation size golf balls. I think he may need to have them taken out this year.  Right now he’s past out (heavily medicated) on my bed, while CBeebies is on overhead (yes we switched our satellite on again, for the Super 14 Rugby series…and boy am I glad that I’m not a Stormers supporter, after the way they embarrassed themselves on Saturday – hubby was in the company box seats cringing all the way). Anyway, he’s got his anti-biotics, so hopefully he’ll soon be on the mend.

Having switched on the DSTV again, after a 2 month money saving break (it’s going off again as soon as the rugby season is over or we emigrate, which ever comes first), it’s amazing to me that aside from 1 program a day that I want to see, there is bugger all else of interest to me. But for Grays Anatomy, The Mentalist, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives and MacLeods Daughters reruns, I am very grateful.

Speaking of good programming, a friend of ours lent us Season 3 of Heroes. Holy cow – it’s become a bit like a horror movie. One that is so exciting I can’t tear myself away from. Has anyone else seen it?? Freakish!

Now, a blast from the past. Do any of you remember a series from yonks ago, called “Voyagers”? About a guy who’s from the future, but travels through time ‘fixing’ it? He’s a bit of a dunce, so he has this little smart twerp from ‘present day 1980-something’ along to help him ‘fix’ bits of history gone wrong? They had this little gadget called the “Omni” which glowed green when things were ‘right’ and red when they weren’t.

If it doesn’t jog your memory, then maybe this will, ladies…take a deep breath…John Erik Hexum

Yes that was the late John Erik Hexum. He was so damn dishy, that back then watching the program used to give my little teenage heart serious palpitations.  Yes, ladies, he blew my hair back in the worst way…seriously hawt!

They introduced a new character into McLeods Daughters awhile back, just a short, few episodes role, and I’ll be damned if he isn’t John Erik Hexum re-incarnated – although that would barely be possible given the fact that he’s my age, and would have been alive at the same time as him – and before his tragic accident.

Anyway, I’ll have to keep you in suspense before I talk about him anymore, and I’ll save that for my special feature on McLeods Daughters later this week. For now, just enjoy the bod pictured.

So…what did you guys think of the Oscars last week? I think that despite all the ‘slamming’ that he experienced, Hugh Jackman did a great job hosting the Oscars this year. I didn’t manage to sit through the whole thing, but I was glad for the three main winners, and totally choked up when they announced Heath Ledger as the winner of the Best Supporting Actor.

Oh and what is it with ladies that have dated Tom Cruise? They all seem to scoop up Oscars right after they end their relationship with him….(Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman…I’m sure we could dig up some more if we tried).

Right, I reckon that’s enough from me for today!

Oh wait! I nearly forgot, my first module of my graphic design course arrived today!!!! YAY!!!!! I’m feeling very scholastic today!
