Oy vey!
It took me a little while to like ‘Dr Dave Brewer’ the vet, when he arrogantly strolled onto Drovers Run the first time, and started messing with Tess’ head – as if she needed any more reason to mess up her relationship with Nick Ryan.
But it wasn’t long before his character revealed a softer, darker side of himself, and his devilishly good looks didn’t keep us against him for long.
Judging by his fit physique he is clearly a man who regularly takes his men’s vitamins, and he manages to look good even when he’s pretending to have his arm up a cows *you know what*.
His lovable and charming character drove fellow character Kate Manfredi absolutely wild, and whilst doing so, he managed to make us all fall in love with him too.
One of the few cast members who actually grew up in the country (the Yarra Valley, Victoria), the opportunity to combine two of his favourite things, acting and being around horses was not lost on him when he auditioned, even though his character was supposedly terrified of horses. He was previously seen in the childrens programme series, “The Saddle Club” where he actually *did* ride.
He even took work experience with a country vet, in order to better understand the complexities of his character and the way he wanted to play it.
He joined the cast of Neighbours shortly after leaving McLeods, disappointing hordes of us who were wanting him to come back.
Oh well at least they didn’t kill him off!!

Becareful how you answer, because it’s a totally loaded question…
No, seriously, I need to know from you guys if you can see it clearly, without broken images/stuff hanging off the edge of your screen etc etc.
Here’s the part now where you need to listen closely…if you *do* have a problem would you do me a a teensy favour?
Let me know what the problem is i.e. “hey, your content disappears behind the sidebar, or the sidebar is off the side of my screen on the right” etc
Then let me know what size your monitor is, your screen resolution i.e. 1280 x 900 etc whatever (if you know). It’s just so that I can make it look nice for everyone mmkay?
Cool thanks!
Until I hear back from y’alls with comments, curses or kudos (I didn’t design this myself btw) I’m going to leave it as it is, so please if you see plumbers crack, workmens botty, my bewbs through my shirt, or I have parsley in my teeth, then YOU guys need to let me know okay?
And dewds (technically, dewdettes)! Go answer the poll on the right please!

Well this post had to be done sooner or later!
It’s no secret that I am a rather huge fan of the show, McLeods Daughters.
The views, the vistas, the horses. The men.
The men ON horses.
The most good looking men in Australia all in one town, now *that* is a show worth watching again and again. Oh wait! I forgot about Russell Crowe. Now, he would never decend from his godlike status to play on a local TV show (I mean at least not since Neighbors **snort**), but I can tell you, that if he had, appeared in even *just* one episode, I would have had reason to never, ever watch *anything* else on television again.
As it is, my boys already sing the theme song to the show (shame they’re only little remember) every time we pass anything remotely resembling Australia, like a gum tree, or a windmill (water pump).
The number of visitors coming to my site daily as a result of organic google searches definitely shows me that this is a series with a diehard fan base, and that it will keep doing well in terms of DVD sales and as long as the keep showing re-runs on the Hallmark Channel. Long may they re-run!
Today I’m going to start with one of my three favourite hotties from the show.
Starting with number one.
It may not be who you think!
Matt Passmore who plays “Marcus Turner”
Yes, the latecomer pips the original cast members at the post!
Definitely my favourite male from the show. Although I must admit, we definitely didn’t see enough of him on a horse, or shirtless (as we did with Aaron Jeffrey, thanks screen writers! We love you!) and the show is the poorer for it.
Now for the real stuff. Matt is a graduate of NIDA (the National Institute of Dramatic Art) and has screen credits to his name including Last Man Standing and would you believe it he used to be a regular presenter on Playschool! I think I may have to go dig out some old TV shows and start watching it with my kids. Yay! No more Barney.
Anyway, he’s also an accomplished theatre actor, but I look forward to seeing what he does ‘after’ McLeods.
There will be another McLeods Hottie coming up in a few days, I need a breather between them, because really, they need to be appreciated fully don’t you think?
